Jerome
Lordan.

Jerome has spent two decades navigating the invisible trails and jagged cliffs of the Irish coastline. More than a guide, he is a custodian of local folklore, ecological history, and the quiet secrets of the Skellig coast.

His deep respect for the Atlantic weather systems and intimate knowledge of the terrain ensures that every expedition is both relentlessly authentic and entirely safe. You aren't just walking a path; you're learning to read the landscape.

The
Itinerary.

A carefully structured progression through the Cork landscape, designed to challenge the body and clear the mind.

The Gathering

We meet at dawn in Garrylucas. After a comprehensive gear check and safety briefing, we begin our initial ascent through the lower coastal bogs, focusing on pacing and breathwork.

Stage 02

The High Ridge

Navigating the exposed ridgeline. This section demands focus as we traverse ancient sheep trails with panoramic views of the Skellig Islands emerging from the Atlantic mist.

Stage 03

Descent & Reflection

A gradual descent through hidden glacial valleys. We conclude at a secluded cove for a well-earned artisan meal sourced from local fishermen and farmers.

Details &
Logistics.

What is the required fitness level?

You must be comfortable walking for 6-8 hours on uneven, sometimes steep terrain. If you regularly hike or run, you are well prepared. We pace the group to the slowest member, but stamina is required.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We embrace the Irish weather. Rain is part of the experience. We only cancel or reroute if wind speeds exceed safe levels on exposed cliffs. Appropriate waterproof gear is mandatory.

Do you provide equipment?

We provide custom topographic maps, emergency beacons, and walking poles if requested. You must bring your own broken-in hiking boots, waterproof shell layers, and a daypack.
